Train Cams

Train cams are a long-standing favourite among railway enthusiasts. This category features views from Amsterdam Centraal station, Seoul Station Square in South Korea, the main line near York in England and rail spots in the United States such as Ashland, Kansas City and Strasburg. Freight trains, commuter services and passenger trains pass in front of the camera throughout the day.

Viewers tune in to identify different locomotives and rolling stock, to wait for a long freight train to roll through, or simply to watch the everyday bustle of a busy station. Some streams are run by rail operators, others by local volunteers and railfan clubs, so they may be interrupted at night or during maintenance. Outdoor cameras are affected by snow, fog and rain, so check the live weather on the camera page before settling in for a long watch.
