City Skylines & Views

Skyline and panorama cams are the most striking way to take in a whole place at a single glance. This category features wide views such as the New York skyline with the World Trade Center and the Brooklyn Bridge, Mount Fuji seen from Lake Kawaguchi, the summit of Uludağ above Bursa, and scientific cameras looking into the crater of Kīlauea volcano in Hawaii. Panoramas of Alpine towns in Austria, Germany and Switzerland are included too.

People watch these cams to see the sky change at sunrise and sunset, to check whether it is clear enough to see the mountain, or to enjoy a city's lights after dark. The images come from official bodies, scientific institutions and local broadcasters, so streams may pause at night or during maintenance. Clouds and fog directly affect visibility, so check the live weather on the camera page before you tune in.
