City Cams & Squares

City squares and main streets show the everyday rhythm of a place better than almost anything else. This category gathers live views from city centres in Turkey and around the world, from Sultanahmet and Taksim squares in Istanbul to Times Square in New York and the famous Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo. You can follow the crowds, street life, evening lights and the changing mood of the seasons from wherever you are.

People watch these cams to get a feel for a neighbourhood before a trip, to catch the atmosphere during a festival or on New Year's Eve, or simply to look out onto the streets of another city for a moment. The streams come from municipalities, broadcasters and other official sources, so they may pause at night or during maintenance. Before heading out, check the live weather shown on each camera page as well.
