The Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge is a modern cable-stayed crossing over a wide stretch of the Hudson River, linking Tarrytown in Westchester County with South Nyack in Rockland County. Built to replace the old Tappan Zee Bridge, it carries I-87 and I-287 on the New York State Thruway and is one of the key river crossings north of New York City.
